中国政府がツイッターで工作していた

ツイッターの公式アカウントが、中国政府による工作アカウントを936件停止したと発表。
更に20万件もの休眠アカウントも、活動前に停止したそうです。

以前から「五毛党」と呼ばれる中国政府による工作員の存在は噂されていましたが、
これでツイッター公式が五毛党の存在を認めたも同然となります。

今回発覚したのは、中国政府の工作としてツイートで香港の抗議活動を弱体化させ、国際世論を操ろうとしたと、ツイッター公式はツイートしています。
具体的には、香港の立法会(議会)にデモ隊が入ったのを「立法会を破壊している」と偽ニュースをツイートしていたそうです。
